Filipino bingo comes in two flavours. 75-ball (Jili, faster) and 90-ball (Bingo Plus, Fa Chai, traditional). For an absolute first bingo session, Bingo Plus 90-Ball at ₱30 per card is our beginner recommendation. Here is why.
The 90-ball card structure
A 90-ball bingo card has three rows of nine columns each (27 cells), but only 15 cells per card contain numbers — the remaining 12 cells are blanks. Each row has exactly 5 numbers and 4 blanks. The nine columns each hold a range: column 1 has numbers 1-9, column 2 has 10-19, column 3 has 20-29, column 4 has 30-39, column 5 has 40-49, column 6 has 50-59, column 7 has 60-69, column 8 has 70-79, column 9 has 80-90. Numbers 1-90 are drawn from the pool, one at a time.
Three tiers of prizes
- One line — first player to daub all 5 numbers in any one row. Smallest prize tier.
- Two lines — first player to daub all 5 numbers in two different rows on the same card. Mid prize tier.
- Full house — first player to daub all 15 numbers on the card. Top prize tier, progressive eligible.
Why 90-ball is more forgiving for beginners
75-ball has many possible pattern types (lines, corners, stamp, X, blackout) and prizes go to each separately. 90-ball has only three tiers (one line, two lines, full house). Fewer patterns = easier for a first-timer to track. Additionally, Bingo Plus rooms are smaller (50-80 players per session vs Jili Bingo's 150-250), which slightly improves your odds per peso of card. And the ₱30 card price is the lowest in the PH bingo market — a ₱100 first session budget buys you 3 cards across 3 sessions.
Session cadence
Bingo Plus 90-Ball sessions run every 10-12 minutes, slightly slower than Jili Bingo 75-Ball's 8 minutes. The longer session means each call feels more deliberate — there is time to check your card, breathe, think. Exactly what a first-timer needs.
Fa Chai 90-Ball as the slower alternative
Fa Chai runs a 90-Ball community hall with even slower pacing and a heavier community-chat component. Smaller rooms still (30-50 players), lowest prize tiers, smallest progressive. If even Bingo Plus feels too fast, Fa Chai is the gentlest bingo entry. Card prices are comparable (₱30-₱40).
After your first 5 bingo sessions
Graduate to Jili Bingo 75-Ball ₱50 cards once the card-reading muscle is confident. The shorter session cadence and larger prize pools (including the full ₱500k Friday progressive) become more fun once you are not working to keep up. Most PH bingo veterans rotate between both formats depending on mood and session-length availability.

What makes an online bingo page useful for Filipino players?
SPNT checks this topic through a 21+ Philippines lens: local payment fit, game or room rules, bonus restrictions, payout clarity and whether the next step is explained before a player commits funds. For the broader commercial context, continue through the online bingo Philippines hub.
How should bingo players compare rooms before playing?
A bigger headline claim is not enough on its own. Filipino players should compare the underlying terms, GCash or Maya handling, KYC expectations, eligible games and responsible-play controls. That keeps the decision practical, especially when moving from a guide like this one into a casino review, slot page, bingo room or bonus offer.
